Save Odiham Post Office

Discussing Odiham Post Office with the Post Office Minister.

I’ve been made aware that the Postmaster at Odiham Post Office has decided step back from his role in the village – and focus on running the Hook Post Office now. We are all grateful for the service he has provided us to date.

Clearly, the residents of Odiham and nearby villages still need Post Office services, particularly following the closures of bank branches.

I’ve had lengthy discussions with the Post Office and local residents to understand possible solutions to the situation, and I’ve met the Post Office Minister to raise my concerns as a matter of urgency.

I need your help to demonstrate the strength of local feeling to the Post Office – and Cash Access UK too, who have a duty to provide local access too. Please sign my petition, and share with your neighbours, so we can make our collective voice louder.

Odiham Post Office Petition

  • Current Your details
To the Post Office and Cash Access UK.

The petition of the residents of North East Hampshire.

Declares that there should remain a Post Office provision in Odiham; and that Cash Access UK will provide a banking hub facility for residents should the Post Office withdraw services in Odiham.

The petitioners therefore request that the Post Office should explore every option to keep Odiham Post Office operational; that the Post Office will commit to a long-term plan for provision to the residents of Odiham and surrounding villages; and that Cash Access UK provide a banking hub facility for residents should the Post Office not be able to provide services in Odiham, given that many residents rely on these facilities for their banking needs.

And the petitioner(s) remain, etc.
